Dr. Marcos Ortega is dedicated to providing his patients with excellent care and the latest advances in dentistry. He is a member of local implant and cosmetic dentistry study groups, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, an active member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and ongoing member of the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education.
Dr. Ortega’s success has stemmed from an ongoing effort to improve the quality and delivery of his dental services. Listening to patient concerns and desires in a relaxed environment allows for individualized care and trust. Understanding patient needs combined with the use of new technology to aid in achieving patient goals continue to contribute to his success.
Dr. Ortega, a native of Southern California attended the University of California, San Diego and graduated with a bachelor degree in Biology. He graduated from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry in 1986. For more than 20 years, he has been providing quality dental care in San Diego.
He has been trained in a variety of services that can help create beautiful and healthy smiles. Dr. Ortega has been trained and certified in the use of INVISALIGN invisible braces. This is wonderful for adults who want straight teeth but do not want to wear traditional braces.
He also offers the latest one-hour teeth whitening system, ZOOM, a great way to rejuvenate your smile.
Comfort in care is important to most people. Some of the advances in technology Dr. Ortega uses to enhance comfort include the use of trans-dermal anesthetic patches in combination with “THE WAND”, a computerized anesthetic delivery system.
SEDATION DENITSTRY is a service that has allowed Dr. Ortega to change peoples’ lives. The “one pill oral conscious sedation dentistry” technique allows those people who have avoided the dentist to finally receive the care they need.
